The Washington D.C. Grand Prix reserves the right to make photo and/or video recordings at any time during the event. This includes, but is not limited to, the recordings of master classes, participants’ rehearsals or performances during the competition, or any activities in the venue lobby or backstage. By participating in the Washington D.C. Grand Prix, participants and their parents and/or legal guardians give their express permission for the Washington D.C. Grand Prix to make any photo/video recordings at any time. Also, by participating in the Washington D.C. Grand Prix, participants and their parents or legal guardians give the Washington D.C. Grand Prix their express permission to use any such photo/video recordings (including those containing their name or likeness) for promotional purposes (including any uses in print, online, or in social media).
I hereby forever release and discharge The Washington D.C. Grand Prix and its officers, directors, employees and any party that is affiliated with, sponsors or organizes the Competition from liability for loss or theft of articles left in changing rooms, the performance space, classrooms, or hotel rooms and injuries sustained by the Contestant while participating in this event. I acknowledge that the Contestant attends this event at his or her own risk. I will defend, indemnify and hold The Washington D.C. Grand Prix and its officers and directors harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, suits and expenses relating to this Release Agreement arising out of my actions or negligence.
