Event Guidelines
Eligibility:
Ballet students aged 8+18 and young dancer 19-21 are able to compete and attend the workshops within their designated level.

Anyone 14+ may participate in pas de deux, and anyone 9+ may participate in duet, trio, and ensemble pieces.
Professional Division competitors may only compete in the Professional Division. Professionals are not permitted to dance in pas de deux or group dances with non-professional competitors.
Repertoire Not Permitted: Choreography that is subject to copyright infringement. Please refer to the repertoire list when choosing variations.

Large Ensemble (7+ dancers) – $47 per dancer
Scheduling of Competition: Competitor entry number and detailed schedule will be announced on our website ONE WEEK prior to the competition
Deadline: The deadline to register for the competition 3 weeks before the competition
Stage: Marley floor. No stage set/props is permitted.
Violations: Should a competition number not meet the DC Grand Prix variation requirements or time limits, that piece will be disqualified. Dancers will be permitted to complete their performance and their teacher/parent will be notified.
Scoring System: Total 100 points to include:
- Technique
- Artistry
- Musicality
- Presentation
- Style
- Control and Coordination
