Awards

Judges have the right to not award any award if they see fit. Judges make the final decision as to awarding. Here is a list of awards that will be presented at our competitions: 

Awards -Semi Final Round

  • Semi – Final Grand Prix Award
  • Semi – Final Youth Grand Prix
  • Semi – Final Youth Star Award
  • Competitors must receive a score between 99-100 from all judges and must dance in classical and contemporary to be considered for Grand Prix Award, Youth Grand Prix, or Youth Star
  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place in each age category/division: Plaque
  • Top 12: Certificate of Achievement
  • Certificate of Recognition for ALL Participants
  • Certificate of Appreciation for Partnering (Pas-de-deux)
  • Excellent School Award
  • Excellent Coach Award
  • Best Teacher in each age category/division
  • Best Choreographer in Solos
  • Best Choreographer in ensembles Classical/Contemporary
  • Best Choreographer in Character/Folk
  • Best Male Teacher
  • **NEW! Dedication Award **
** Dedication Award goes to the school with the highest number of participating dancers in the competition

Awards – Final Round

  • Grand Prix Award: $1000 (For Final Round Senior ONLY)
  • Youth Grand Prix: $500 (For Final Round Junior/Teen ONLY)
  • Youth Star Award: $200 (For Final Round Pre – Competitive/Youth ONLY)
